Glory Bee was a Soviet spy. On 30 October 1938, she hired the Eighth Doctor to find her "uncle", who was the Soviet scientist Professor Stepashin. It turned out that he wasn't her uncle, but a scientist who escaped the USSR. When she escaped from Don Chaney's lair in the Brooklyn Bridge, she fell off the bridge to her death.
