Summary
The Doctor and Ace travel to Maruthea for Bonjaxx's birthday party. Whilst there he sees several people he knows, and something of his future.
Characters
- Has a new baseball bat.
References
- There are several species, races and people present at the party including:
- A Draconian.
- A female Silurian.
- A Sontaran.
- Two Daleks (seemingly lovingly touching plungers).
- Shayde
- The android Bus Conductor from Segonax.
- Abslom Daak
- Minister of Enlightenment and Minister of Persuasion
- Melkur
- Worf of Star Trek fame.
- A Meep.
- An Ergon.
- The Kandy Man.
- An Ice Warrior.
- An Experimental Prototype Robot K1.
- A White Robot.
- Morbius (in the brain case and body created by Mehendri Solon).
- A Vervoid.
- An Alpha Centauran
- The Doctor's fourth incarnation makes a brief appearance.
- One of Bonjaxx's gifts appears to have the general shape of K-9.
- There is an implication that the First Law of Time might related to meeting a previous/future incarnation of oneself.
- The trick of getting to Maruthea is not to be there at all, then you are.
Notes
- The likeness of the 'future Doctor' is based on Nicholas Briggs who portrayed the Doctor in AudioVisuals series of audio dramas.
Continuity
- The likeness of the 'future' Doctor also appears in DWM: The Final Chapter and Wormwood.
