Sir George Hardiman was the head of the Nuton Power Complex. He agreed to have Axonite analysed in his lab prior to worldwide distribution. He later assisted the Master in his attempt to destroy Axos with a power surge, but when it was reversed, he gave his life to prevent it from destroying the complex. (DW: The Claws of Axos)
