Donald Hewlett (30 August 1920-4 June 2011[1]) played Sir George Hardiman in the Doctor Who television story The Claws of Axos.

Hewlett's other credits included roles on The Saint, Are You Being Served? and The New Avengers. However, he is best known for playing Colonel Charles Reynolds on It Ain't Half Hot Mum and Lord George Meldrum on You Rang, M'Lord?.

He was the father of Torchwood guest actor Siobhân Hewlett, who played Harriet Derbyshire in the episode To the Last Man. He was once married to Christine Pollon, who voiced the Oracle in Underworld.
