Corporal Nicholas Blake was an officer in the British Army. He took part in the fight against the Great Intelligence and its robot Yeti in the London Underground. In an attempt to get to the Second Doctor's TARDIS, Blake and Colonel Lethbridge-Stewart were the last survivors of the group of soldiers they had brought.
