The Doctor journeyed into the future to when Alphonse's restaurant was built and thriving, asking the receptionist for a table on the balcony with a view of the towers, putting into motion his long-delayed date with [[River Song]] on Darillium. However, the restaurant was so busy that it was fully booked several years in advance, and the first available slot the currently long-haired receptionist had was [[Christmas Day]] in four years' time. The Doctor happily agreed to this appointment, using the [[The Doctor's TARDIS|TARDIS]] to jump forward in time to exact moment of the date.
