Jerome Khan was a maths student at a university in England and the boyfriend of Imogen Frazer.
After Frazer disappeared after accepting a job with a cult in Fleming's Island in 1981, Khan travelled to Ireland and, along with Robert DeValley, Aoife Dineen and Donal Dineen, went to the island to search for Frazer. The Fifth Doctor and Khan eventually realised that Frazer had turned herself into an I. Khan later turned himself into an I to be with Frazer. (AUDIO: Iterations of I)
