Dr Inigo Tate was an employee of the research institute Landaluze Corporation. She convinced her colleague, Dr Colem Litchen, to give a fund-raising speech at a university, proposing a deal. The university would pay for Litchen's and Tate's research into planetoid SK-12, an important site during the Dalek wars, and the institute would share credit for the resulting paper.
