Dennis was a Toy.
After escaping from the Petruska Psychiatric Institution, one of the Toys was found by Mikey. His loneliness made the Toy transform into a brother for him, whom Mikey named Dennis.
When Carl Scraton was sent to kill Dennis because the Toys' creator, Moriah, wanted them all destroyed, Mikey killed Carl to stop him. (PROSE: Bad Therapy)
