The twelve children came from the Holly Tree Lodge, an orphanage located in Arbroath, Scotland, due to close that year. The children would supposedly go to another orphanage called Harbour Heights in England. The bus dropped off in rural Scotland. Harkness and armed personnel ushered the children into a white light.
