Fiora Venn, née Fiora James, was a woman who lived close to Justine McManus' hometown. She was the aunt of Emma James and the great-grandmother of Sabbath.

History

Fiora was born in 1858.

Despite the fact that the rest of the community shunned her for it, Fiora fell in love with Tuluku Venn and decided to live with him near Geddis Fields. They never wed because the reverend refused to participate in an interracial marriage. Tuluku died in 1891, leaving Fiora to live by herself.

In 1897, (AUDIO: Movers) Fiora developed a relationship with Faraday. They tried to keep it a secret, but many suspected that something was going on. (AUDIO: A Labyrinth of Histories)

By 1899, Fiora was suffering from a canker in her throat. (AUDIO: Movers) In this year, Sabbath came to Fiora's house accompanied by Morlock with intentions to kill her as part of a Faction Paradox ritual. While Justine McManus and Emma James were visiting Fiora for tea, Sabbath and Morlock assaulted Fiora's house with their shadow-weapons. Sabbath came quite close to murdering Fiora, but at the last second Morlock realised that she was four weeks pregnant with Sabbath's grandfather. Fiora couldn't be used for the ritual, so Sabbath killed Emma instead. (AUDIO: A Labyrinth of Histories)
