Vega was a planet inhabited by the Satyr-like Vegans, who were known for being a practical race of miners. Vega was also a member of the Galactic Federation. (TV: The Monster of Peladon)
The planet had produced more mining engineers and pot-holders than practically any other planet in the galaxy. (PROSE: Fear of the Dark)
