Behind the Scenes

The Journal of Impossible Things seems to be set to appear once more in the fourth 2009 special, as indicated from photographs from filming which have appeared online. A book with that title, featuring a fob watch on the cover, is published by a woman named Verity Newman (clearly a reference to Sydney Newman, the original creator of Doctor Who, and Verity Lambert, the first producer), portrayed by Jessica Hynes who previously appeared as Joan Redfern.
