Simia the Missing Link was an entertainer in Victorian London. Part of her act included swinging from parallel bars and discussing the Theory of Natural Selection.
In 1861, she wondered whether to send one or two Christmas cards to Chang and Eng.
Simia was attacked by living ink and suffered a cardiac seizure, but she was revived by Anak with hartshorn. (PROSE: The Lampblack Wars)
