An Academician for Game Logic was part of a Homeworld group created to study The War.
Since the Homeworld and the enemy had essentially unlimited resources, the War made no sense unless it was thought of as a game. The Academicians were dedicated to understanding and winning that game. Devonire was the first of the Academicians. (PROSE: The Book of the War)
