Ghostbusters is a series of motion pictures popular in the late 20th century on Earth, which were distinguished by their theme song of the same title, which was a major success for American singer Ray Parker Jr. upon its first release in 1984.

The Doctor and Rose Tyler enjoyed a fun moment as they sang the theme song after the Doctor emerged from the TARDIS storage room wearing a piece of backpack-based gear similar in appearance to that worn by the titular characters in the film (and ironically with a similar purpose in mind -- dealing with alleged "ghosts"). (DW: Army of Ghosts)
