Adrienne Hill (born 22nd July 1937 in Plymouth, England; died 6th October 1997) played ill-fated companion Katarina from Episode 4 of The Myth Makers through to Episode 4 of The Daleks' Master Plan. Katarina was the first and one of the only companions ever to be killed off on Doctor Who. Her tenure in the show was among the briefest.

Adrienne Hill appeared in the 1985 Children in Need special, together with other actors who had played the Doctor and his companions. She died from cancer in 1997, with her last known acting role, that of a library assistant in an episode of City Life, being broadcast posthumously in February of 1998.
