• The author intended the story to be set in-between Dimensions in Time and Search Out Space, two stories that are considered non-valid by this wiki.
• This story establishes that the K9 featured in the final moments of Dimensions in Time was a model built by the Seventh Doctor rather than one pulled through time by the Rani. The suggestion is that the K9 seen in Search Out Space was also this variation.
