K9 (Search Out Space)
One model of K9 was known to accompany the Seventh Doctor and Ace on their further travels sometime after the Cheetah Planet.

This K9 first appeared in 1993 during the First Rani's temporal trap pulled on the Doctor. While this K9 might have been either K9 Mark I or K9 Mark II, (TV: Dimensions in Time [+]Loading...["Dimensions in Time (TV story)"]) one source suggested that this was actually a unique model that naturally traveled with the Seventh Doctor and Ace.
As the Doctor and Ace headed back towards the TARDIS after the Rani's plot was foiled, they and K9 were transported to another planet, where they witnessed Kali being returned to life by her followers. After returning to Earth, K9 helped the Doctor prevent Kali from winning the battle with her enemy. Afterwards, they prepared themselves for the quiz show they were invited to take part in, (PROSE: Storm in a Tikka [+]Loading...["Storm in a Tikka (short story)"]) where they competed against Cedric.
