The Emphani was a parasite that could inhabit bodies.
It made its host speak continuously causing them to forget themselves. A prolonged exposure would lead to the host completely losing their personality and the Emphani taking the body over.
It came through the Coal Hill Space-Time Rift in 2016 in the Coal Hill locker room when Charlie Smith and Matteusz Andrzejewski were in a heightened emotional state, making out. It used their words "I Love You" to enter a host, first manifesting itself in Matteusz, then in Charlie. Concerned about this Charlie called Andrea Quill to assist. The Emphani was then bounced around between the three of them until Ms Quill figured out how it worked. After failing to persuade the Emphani to inhabit the Arn, Ms Quill got rid of it by phoning a random person and making them say "I Love You" (AUDIO: Tell Me You Love Me)
