Myths

  • The facless being that Toby saw as a child was The Trickster
  • Some people think that Erasmus Darkening may have been a Time Lord. This is for many reasons. Firstly, Sarah Jane commented on how Darkening`s manipulator had TARDIS like qualities to it. Also, Clyde made reference to how some aliens can look human and used The Doctor as an example. As well as that, he seemed obsessed with living forever as if he was a Time Lord on his last regeneration. Some people say this can not be true because The Doctor would of traced him but others say he wouldn`t of been able to because he was trapped between dimensions.

Filming Locations

  • The Haunted House in the episode was previously used in Series Four of Doctor Who in Forest of the Dead.

Discontinuity, Plot Holes, Errors

  • In Part One, when the Professor is taken, you hear her scream, but the cameras the professor is using have no audio, as she earlier uses her radio to talk.
