Mina Anwar played Gita Chandra in The Sarah Jane Adventures. She also played the guest role of Goodthing in the Doctor Who story Smile, Dr Kurdi in the Big Finish story The Rise of the New Humans and Forsetti in The Trial of a Time Machine.

She is best known as Constable Maggie Habib on the Rowan Atkinson sitcom series The Thin Blue Line (1995-96) and for establishing a (now defunct) company that produced a line of underwear that promoted safe sex.

From 2011 to 2013 she appeared as a regular cast member in House of Anubis alongside Francis Magee.
