French was a soldier who worked for both ICIS and the Forge.
In the early 2000s, French was a corporal at the Forge. During this time, he worked closely with Nimrod.
Sometime before November 2004, he was promoted to a sergeant and transferred to ICIS. His role as Nimrod's second was filled by sergeant Martin Frith. (PROSE: Project: Valhalla)
While working for ICIS, he was ordered to capture Francis Currie and torture him into keeping silent about a conflict between ICIS and Silurians. This act got him arrested under charges of assault. (AUDIO: The Coup)
