Maria Gonzalez was the wife of Miguel Gonzalez and mother of Gabby, Blanca and Gino Gonzalez.
Her parents, Fernanda and Juan, raised a family of fifteen in Mexico while living in a one-room shack.
Her family lived in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. She worked at the family restaurant, the Castillo Mexicano. The Tenth Doctor praised her cooking highly.
During the Cerebravore invasion of Earth, she insisted on taking her family to the Day of the Dead celebration in Green-Wood Cemetery to keep a promise given to Ricardo Mendoza, the event's organiser. (COMIC: Revolutions of Terror)
