Pooky Quesnel portrayed the Captain in the Doctor Who television story A Christmas Carol and Dorothea Ames in the Class television stories Co-Owner of a Lonely Heart / Brave-ish Heart, The Metaphysical Engine, or What Quill Did and The Lost.

She appeared alongside Christopher Eccleston in the BBC drama Accused.
