A large spider guarded a gateway between the levels of Hyspero. It reminded the Eighth Doctor of the Great One. The spider joined the Doctor on his quest to reunite the Four and later fell in love with the Cyborg Duchess, the two fusing to become the Spider Duchess. (PROSE: The Scarlet Empress)
