Prelude First Frontier was, as the name suggested, a prelude to First Frontier by David A. McIntee. It did not appear in the published novel.
Summary
Pilot John Finney is shot down during the Korean War. He is given medical assistance by the Doctor and Jamie.
Years later, Jack Siegel tries unsuccessfully to persuade his cook not to leave. Coyote Eyes tries, without success, to persuade Jack to leave, warning him of danger if he stays.
