The nuclear carbine was a weapon developed by the Sky Ray Space Raiders. It had enough power to destroy whole regiments, and never needed recharging.
Commander Clay brought a nuclear carbine, the only one in existence, to Zaos when that world was invaded by the Daleks. Unfortunately, it was destroyed in a Dalek ambush before it could be used. (PROSE: Daleks Invade Zaos)
