During the Monks' occupation of Earth in the late 2010s, the Memory Police consisted of humans who enforced the Monks' "True History". Led by a Group Commander, they arrested Jane Bishop for contravening the "Memory Crimes Act of 1975". When the Twelfth Doctor and Bill Potts stopped the broadcast of the Monks' lies, the Memory Police ceased their operations. (TV: The Lie of the Land)
