The Veterans of the Crimea was a charity organisation in the 1910s to support British veterans of the Crimean War.
On 11 November 1913, a doorman asked for donations to the charity outside the annual dance at the Farringham village hall. John Smith handed him coins, but Son of Mine vapourised him when he asked the same question. (TV: Human Nature)
