In 1913, while running from the Family of Blood, the Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones hid in Farringham, with the Doctor having used a Chameleon Arch to become human, losing his memories in the process and becoming John Smith. (TV: Human Nature) Eventually, the Family tracked them to the village and killed several of its residents before John Smith accepted that he really was the Doctor and changed back into a Time Lord. (TV: The Family of Blood)
Notable places in Farringham included Farringham School for Boys, Blackdown Woods, Oakham Farm and Farringham Village Hall. (TV: Human Nature/The Family of Blood)
