Evangeline Lechasseur was Honoré Lechasseur's mother. She was murdered when Honoré was eleven by John and Wayne Carter, two murderers known as the Royal Street Vampires. Honoré travelled back in time from 1951 to be there when she died. She mistook him for her husband Jean-Henri Lechasseur. (PROSE: The Sideways Door)
