Nina Métivier wrote the Doctor Who television story Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror, for series 12.

Before being given the chance to pen a script of her own, Métivier had served as a script editor, under series script editor Sheena Bucktowonsing, for series 11. She received credit for this role on the episodes The Woman Who Fell to Earth and It Takes You Away.
