::::Just pointing out, grammatically speaking, shepherd's pie means "pie belonging to a shepherd". So no, shepherd's pie isn't made of shepherds (that would be shepherds pie or shepherd pie). Since I haven’t read the novel, I don’t know who says it, so I was placed in the unfortunate position of being forced to remove another fine user’s work completely. You, Danochy, are welcome to re-add your contribution if you can clarify which character says it rather than treating it as word of God. Also, Shambala108, LauraBantham either of you got anything to add to this? I’m all ears. Well, not literally obviously, but I could be, but I digress, the point is, I’m listening....
