Light guns were handheld weapons used by the Elders. They paralysed their victims in a bright beam of white light & also discharged a form like mist but could also stun the victim if the beam hit them in their eyes.
The Elders mainly used light guns to capture Savages. Exorse used a light gun to capture Nanina.
Steven Taylor stole Exorse's light gun and used it against him. He later used it against a guard at the entrance to the Elder's city. (TV: The Savages)
