Tom Spilsbury was the editor of Doctor Who Magazine from 2007-2017, having previously worked under his predecessor Clayton Hickman as assistant editor. His final issue as editor was DWM 515, for which he shared the credit as editor with Peter Ware and Richard Atkinson. He is the thirteenth editor to take on the role, and is the longest serving editor for the magazine. He claimed in DWM 401 that he "loves Davros".
He was credited for his "invaluable assistance and generosity" in It's Even Bigger on the Inside alongside many others.
