Neath was a town in South Wales, located close to the Bristol Channel.
The nearest city was Swansea to the west. Nearby towns included Maesteg to the south-east and Port Talbot to the south. Nearby small towns or villages included Alltwen, located roughly to the north, Resolven to the north-east and Pontycymer to the east. The nearest motorway was the M4, which could be accessed at either junction 42, located to the south-west, or junction 43 via the A465, just west of the town. (TV: The Categories of Life)
Neath appeared on Mary Cooper's map of overflow camps in and around Wales. (TV: The Categories of Life)
Jack Harkness went to a chemical plant in Neath to get spare parts for the Rift Manipulator, which was failing to control the Rift due to Deliverables. (AUDIO: Zero Hour)
