- Maxwell Edison first appeared (and met the Doctor) in DWM: Stars Fell on Stockbridge, which is here partially dramatized in flashbacks.
- Nyssa unsuccessfully looks for her former lover, Andrew. During this quest, we finally discover his last name is Harper.
