Production Order

Can anyone confirm the date or vague time that the Karn scenes were filmed? I think that it's safe to say that those scenes were filmed the same day as Prologue, and unless they were the first things to be filmed, I think it's safe to say that Prologue would thus go next in production order... Given that both Prologue and The Doctor's Meditation occur within the narrative of The Magician's Apprentice, it's highly likely that they were both produced at the same time as the episode itself. MadeIndescribable ☎ 16:14, September 22, 2015 (UTC)

Who or what?

I assumed it referred to Clara, although now that I think about it, it could be a reference to Missy. By that same token, the titular "Witch's Familiar" of the following episode could either refer to Clara (the Clara / Missy team-up) or the Doctor (Missy's close-est friend). --Bold Clone 00:30, September 30, 2015 (UTC)

Would it be okay to say this story takes place in 2015? Clara Oswald and the School of Death takes place after Magician's Apprentice and is set in September 2015, while The Hyperion Empire is before Magician's Apprentice and is set in summer 2015. TheChampionOfTime ☎ 00:15, January 27, 2016 (UTC)

Missy as a companion?

Should Missy be considered a companion for this episode and the next? Her role doesn't seem much different than Jackie in the series 2 finale, or Lynda in the series 1 finale, and they're both listed as companions. EvilDeathCuddle ☎ 01:36, August 22, 2020 (UTC)

That cleared nothing up for me. The most I got out of any of those links is that there's no real reasoning. If were being consistent then either Missy should a companion or Jackie, Lynda, and a whole bunch of others shouldn't.
