The Crimson Hand were a group of alien criminals who commited many crimes in the universe. The Doctors companion Majenta Pryce was once a member of the organisation. Among there past crimes where fraud, Grand Lurceny and Murder, they were wanted by Intersol.
The Crimson Hand was full of people who wanted wealth among them being ruthless Tyrants and corrupt Tycoons. They held many items of power including a piece of the Key to Time and the Scroll of Horath. But their greatest prize was the Manus Maleficus which allowed the highest ones greatest power. They used the Manus Maleficus to destroy many planets including the Skith Home planet. Majenta Pryce soon got scared and fled the group.
