Behind the scenes
- Two members of the group were known as Mel B and Mel C. In the audio story The Wrong Doctors, in the 1980s, the Sixth Doctor met two versions of Melanie Bush and named "Mel A" the older one and "Mel B" the younger one; the younger Mel asked what if another one showed up, would she be "Mel C"; the Doctor stopped this by saying that could not be allowed to happen, because it was the wrong decade. Later, he addressed to Melanie with the title of the Spice Girl song Spice Up Your Life.
