Plot
While engaged in his machinations during the Shoreditch Incident, the Doctor meets an old Time Lord 'acquaintance'; the man warns of a counter-strike by the Daleks, a campaign named Pa-Jass Vortan that heralds the start of a Time War. When the Time Lord also warns that the Daleks are using a bio-mechanised Slyther to track something important to the war, the Doctor becomes concerned for the Hand of Omega device he is hiding.
