This book adapts Warriors of Kudlak, the third regular serial of The Sarah Jane Adventures' first series.

When Luke and Clyde go missing after a trip to a laser-tag arena, Sarah Jane and Maria go to talk to Mark Grantham, the shifty owner. After some investigation, they realise he is working with Kudlak, an alien warrior, to recruit soldiers to fight a war on the planet Uvodni! Will Sarah Jane and Maria be able to stop him?
