Nigel Betts played Mr Armitage in the Doctor Who television stories Into the Dalek, The Caretaker and in a voiceover in Dark Water. He returned to the role of the character for the Class stories For Tonight We Might Die and The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo. He also provided the voice of Glynn Lewis in the Torchwood audio Corpse Day.
