On an alternate Gallifrey, an alternate version of Maris was a friend of Leela and took her on a journey to find Hector's experiments. She spied on Leela for Narvin to make sure she was safe. She was later kidnapped by Taine for Hector. She was very fanatical about Hector's work. She was the person calling the slaves onto the time paths. (AUDIO: Evolution)
