Jemima Rooper (born 24 October 1981[1]) voiced the Eighth Doctor's companion Izzy Sinclair in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story Izzy's Story. She also played Mithia in the audio anthology The Eighth Doctor: Time War: Volume Four.[2]

Rooper began acting as a child. Her mother is journalist Alison Rooper.[3]

Rooper's performance as Izzy was praised by Alan Barnes, creator of the character and writer of Izzy's Story. Barnes said "she 'got' the character the second she spoke her first line, absolutely - walking the line between 'utterly adorable, give her a hug' and 'slightly irritating nerd' like she was born to play it!" (VOR 5)
