Ron Moody (born Ronald Moodnick 8 January 1924 in Tottenham, north London, died 11 June 2015[1]) voiced the Duke of Wellington in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story Other Lives. Moody is one of the few Oscar-nominated actors to appear in a Doctor Who production.
Moody was considered for the role of the Third Doctor but turned it down, a decision he later described as his greatest regret.[2]
