Ah. Well, if this is to be consistently enforced, this may in fact necessitate the SPLITTING of many of our pages. For example, do any stories actually state that, for example, [[Farting]] and [[Flatulence]] are one and the same? Because the latter currently redirects to the former, yet, as pointed out on that page's talk page, none of the DWU references to "flatulence" actually identify what it IS. Why is this its own page? Isn’t this just a synonym for Masturbation? Yeah, yeah, I know, T:NO RW, and all that, but doesn’t this fall under the “opaque blender clause”? - Ah. Different thing. There's an "opaque blender" objection I've made about how writing articles for things even as small as simple verb choices is highly dependent on RW context that we can't assume, and the "blender" exception, is that we have to name everything something so we can call blenders blenders, even if they're not named that in universe. ah, I see. I was in fact aware of both, just must have got them mixed up in my head. In any case, I feel I should circle back around the the point I initially made about this probably needing to be merged since we don’t usually have pages for simple synonyms.
