John and Gillian discover The TARDIS, parked inside the empty Yard. (COMIC: The Klepton Parasites)

When John and Gillian attempted to visit the address which their grandfather lived at in 20th century England, they found it to be an empty yard. Inside was a lone police box, which they discovered to be a time machine owned by their grandfather. After John messed with the ship's controls, the time vessel took off from Earth.

The empty yard in The Klepton Parasites was clearly inspired by 76 Totter's Lane, the junkyard from TV: An Unearthly Child.
