The eighty-fourth instalment of The Daft Dimension was printed in DWM 563.
Summary
Mr. William Noddle, a dedicated Doctor Who fan, was wondering round the streets of South London. He notices that the streets are empty and compares it to a vintage Doctor Who episode. He returns home and attempts to phone his friends, none of whom are answering. He then realises that he has missed the first episode of the new series of Doctor Who. Casualty is playing on the TV and, as he screams, a cat runs away.

References
- 2005 was "a time before iPlayer".
- William has posters of the Fourth Doctor and a Dalek up in his home.
Notes
- Casualty did, indeed, air following the premiere of Rose, although not immediately, with that night's National Lottery draw airing between the two shows. However, it is not unreasonable to assume that Noddle simply did not get a chance to switch on his television until 35 minutes after the episode's conclusion.[1]
